However, detecting coherence transfer remains a significant challenge in complex networks, especially when experimental reliability is limited and access to the network, such as for tomography measurements, is restricted. Here, we leverage both the static and dynamic properties of coherence to detect coherence transfer in quantum networks. This method requires only two experimental settings, regardless of network size, based solely on normal population measurements in a computational basis of incoherent states and untrusted operations with unknown detection capabilities at checkpoint nodes. It adapts to limited network access and tolerates untrustworthy checkpoints. Using multiphoton entanglement, we experimentally implement this method to unambiguously detect coherence transfer of polarization qubits in four-photon and six-photon entangled networks.
